Turn your favorite pet photo into a custom piece of art! A unique gift for a pet lover. A touching gift for someone who has lost their furry friend. A lovely gift for a grandparent or new mom. A special treat for yourself, featuring your very own animal kingdom!
Choose the size of your artwork from the drop-down menu, place your order, and email me your photo at the email address below. Using digital techniques, I will enhance your photo, then send you a proof to approve within 48 hours. Four sizes are available: 4"x4", 8"x8", 8"x10", 12"x12". Your image will be carefully printed on premium archival paper, mounted on a cradled wood frame, and sealed in a non-toxic matte finish. Ready to hang or display on a mantle or shelf.
I also create these pieces as sets...for example, your entire pet family! I've also used images of bride and groom as children paired with an image of their engagement or wedding...a great gift for the wedding couple, or for the parents of the bride and groom.
High resolution images work best, but I try to work with whatever you have. Lots of people send me images from their cell phone and we still get great results! I will crop, retouch and make your image look its best, using a variety of color enhancements. Please allow 2 weeks for order to ship. Custom orders are final sale.

CUSTOM PHOTO ART (ENCAUSTIC WAX FINISH)
These custom pieces are similar to the matte style (top of page), but instead are coated with layers of encaustic medium, a combination of beeswax and damar resin. Each piece is unique because of variations in brush strokes, wax density and translucence. These encaustic wax pieces are really special and give a beautiful dreamy quality to the photographs. The piece is signed on the back and is ready to hang, or can stand on its own on a shelf.
Ordering is just as easy as with the matte style, just purchase the piece from my shop and then email me your favorite photo.
Allow 14 business days + shipping time. Custom orders are final sale.
PRICING - ENCAUSTIC WAX FINISH:
CARING FOR ENCAUSTIC ART: After this piece is complete, it goes through a natural curing process for several months, in which the surface continues to harden. During this time, moisture may work its way to the surface and cause a slight haze and less glossy appearance. If you wish, you can restore the shine by buffing with a clean soft cloth, micro fiber is best.) Use care not to scratch the surface while polishing with fingernails or jewelry. Do not use cleaners or solvents. As time goes by, the wax will cure and harden more, and this haze will cease to appear. Encaustic wax is stable between 40°-110°F. As with any fine art, do not hang this piece in direct sunlight as this may damage the piece. Avoid freezing and extremely hot temperatures.
