Custom Orders - It's all about you

I love making custom pieces for my clients. Usually I am asked to do something that I've never done before, so there is a challenge involved and a creative collaboration that is really exciting. We begin the process by brainstorming either in person, over the phone or via email, bouncing around ideas, colors, materials and styles. If you decide to place an order, we will exchange more images, swatches and a 50% deposit (via Paypal or credit card.) I will then create the headpiece of your dreams and will ship it to you, on time and on budget. My goal is to make you so pleased that you will squeal with delight ...and nothing makes me happier than a happy client!
Below are just a few of my designs...there is no limit to what I can accomplish...anything and everything is possible! If you are interested in placing an order, please read our custom order guidelines.

BIRDCAGE VEILS
For brides or special occasions, birdcage veils (also known as "bandeau" veils) add a touch of drama and glamour. Made by hand from Russian netting and secured with silver-tone combs, these veils are easy to wear and can be ordered with or without chenille dots. Standard dimensions are 18"W x 9"H but can be custom made to any size. These veils can also be embellished with crystals or chenille dots in virtually any color combination you choose. |

1920's Flapper HeadbandThis client was planning an elegant 1920's-themed party. She asked me to design her something to match her silver and white dress, with stars and sparkle!

Ecuadorian Prince
This headpiece is actually a recreation of one I made once before for my dear friend and client, Eduardo. The flood that followed Hurricane Katrina decided to take the first one away, along with most of Eduardo's other precious belongings. Luckily, I still had access to most of the materials and as you can see, he looked stunning on Mardi Gras Day!

Necktie Antoinette CostumesThese spicy ladies wanted matching costumes made from a huge collection of men's neckties. I built Marie Antoinette-style skirts for them both, plus shoulder shrugs and hair accessories. As you can see here, they really enjoyed wearing these costumes!

Fleur de Lis Mardi Gras Rider's HatThis client wanted a hat to match his pre-existing costume. Since the New Orleans Saints were in the Superbowl, he wanted their fleur de lis symbol incorporated. I built the hat on a baseball cap base so it was sure to fit him comfortably and securely.
"It got a lot of compliments and a lot of looks. Folks wanted to take my picture constantly. Can't tell you how much I appreciate the job you did." |
Cindy Lou Who AntennaeThis client wanted to blend two cinematic versions of the Dr. Seuss character, "Cindy Lou Who", as well as incorporate the black & gold New Orleans Saints colors. In addition to the sequined and glittered antennae, I made a black & gold bow for her wig. Simple but effective, and most importantly, when she saw my completed work, she jumped up and down, clapping. When this happens, it makes my day.
